We scheduled our first official photo shoot the weekend following Corrie's arrival with our favorite photographer, Grethel Van Epps. She came over to the house and took some sweet newborn pictures of her, two year pictures of Conner, and even a few of the family. Our Sweet Addition... Introducing Corrie Mae
We were so excited to welcome precious Corrie to the world on March 29th at 12:19 pm. She weighed 6 lb and was 18 and 1/2 inches long. I was induced that morning around 7 am and dilated to 10 cm around at noon. Labor was incredibly easy this time - I only pushed twice and the doctor did not make it in time to deliver her. Fortunatly, we had a wonderful nurse!!
She is absolutely adorable and we are enjoying her tremendously. She reminds me so much of Conner but of course I think that she is more delicate and dainty. Conner loved her immediately and is already being a protective big brother. He is slightly jealous of his mommy's attention right now and wants to be held and burped all the time. I know it will get easier on him every day and soon he won't remember life without her. Hope you enjoy the pictures and I look forward to getting back into the blogging world soon :) I have so much to catch up on!!

Our Little Giraffe
Conner was a giraffe for Halloween this year (thanks to Aunt Ash). He was definitely one of the cutest that I have ever seen. I was surprised at how long he kept his costume on, although he really didn't like the hood. It was neat to watch him trick or treat for the first time, even though he didn't really get the concept and wanted to eat all of the candy while still in the wrappers.
The best part of the night was enjoying Conner greet the trick or treaters at the end of the driveway by yelling "Hey" and then running back to the house to get them each one piece of candy. Hmmm... I guess he is a little stingy with the candy. It was such a fun Halloween!
Giraffe on the run!

A Country Pumpkin
No Excuse...
I know... I have been beyond terrible at posting pictures and keeping up lately. I am just going to blame it on being extremely tired from pregnancy, but still no excuse! 18 months has come and gone already. Conner turned 19 months on November 1st. It is hard to believe that our baby is now a little boy . He has changed so much over the past few months and we have had a blast watching! I cannot even begin to count the new words that he is saying and repeating. He is absolutely full of life and such a happy little boy. I am trying to savour all of these moments of undivided attention with him because I know that will drastically change when the new little one arrives in April. On that note, we get to find out what we are having in a couple of weeks and are getting very excited.
Okay, now time to catch up on some pictures... Here are a couple from our trip to Oxford two weeks ago now. Nana and Pop came over for a visit and Conner got to enjoy time with his favorite buddy, Ann Luckett! :)

Aren't they too sweet loving on each other? Absolutely makes me heart melt!
