Sweet as Tupelo Honey

We finally made it back to Tupelo to see our sweet Mary Bishop again this past weekend. Conner was fascinated by his baby cousin and wanted to touch and love on her already. It was very sweet to see Ben and Blair as parents. They are doing an amazing job with her already (not that I am surprised at all!) We cannot wait to see these two grow up together. The holidays are
going to be so much fun!!

She is already a daddy's girl!!

Conner really wanted to help Aunt BB change Mary Bishop's diaper.

Happy Birthday Ann Luckett

Conner's friend, Ann Luckett turned one today! She had a ladybug party and her mom did a precious ladybug cake with cupcakes. She is so creative! We had a great time celebrating this special occasion with her and her family.

Conner took a ride in the swing today for the first time at her house. He really enjoyed it, almost as much as his dad did swinging him.

He has also started sitting up in his bouncy seat and swing. Our days in these two lifesavers may be numbered - what a scary thought! Thank goodness for the straps.

Mommy's Little Helper

Okay, I know...a little desperate for a post this week!! Here is Conner in a stack of clean clothes right out of the dryer. He was very warm & cozy and looked absolutely adorable. I had to share this pic of my own personal Snuggle Bear! Maybe this is a sign he will be helping me with the never ending piles of laundry, which surprisingly consist of mostly his clothes. I guess a girl can dream!

Sunday Stroll

We took Conner and Max on a walk on Sunday. Conner sported his baby sunglasses so he could ride in style! Needless to say, Max's old days of power walks and exercise have come to a screeching halt since Conner joined the family. Although initially, he was so excited to get out and about and see more than our backyard, he soon faded and could not even make it halfway! It was so hysterical to see him riding down below Conner in the basket of the stroller. He even decided later to curl up in the shade so he could get some R&R on the ride home. It seemed like he was thinking, "If my brother gets to ride, why shouldn't I?" He has the life!!

Mary Bishop's Debut

We welcomed our niece, Mary Bishop into the world yesterday (Sept 4th) at 1:23 pm. She weighed 7 lb, 10 oz and was 19 3/4 inches long. She had a head full of dark hair...already such a pretty girl! Conner was so excited to finally meet his sweet cousin (as you can tell from the next picture). Ben and Blair are both doing well. We look forward to lots of fun times together watching these two grow up. We are truly thankful to God for the sweet miracle of life!! She is definitely a reminder of His goodness!

Football is Finally Here!

We went to Oxford this weekend for the Ole Miss/Memphis game. Conner did not Grove or make the game but stayed at Tyler's house with his Nana and Pop. Of course, he wore one of his Ole Miss outfits up to support the team. Zack and Uncle T already think that he is a good luck charm!! He also joined us at Yocona Sunday night for dinner with family and friends. We are getting very excited about the upcoming arrival of baby Curtis this week. Stay tuned as Blair's due date is this Thursday!
