Watch out world, here comes Conner!

Conner is on the move these days. I am not sure that things will ever be the same (especially for Max). It has been so much fun to watch him explore around the house. He loves to crawl through the bottom of the exersaucer, hide under our coffee table, and chase Max. He has recently found the firepokers, dining room, pantry, etc. It is so neat to watch him discover the world around him. I look forward to sharing every experience with him in the days, months, and years ahead.
Conner can now pull up on our dining room window like his brother Max does. It was so cute to get them at the window together at the same time.

Just one more because it was too cute not to share. Have a great week!

And here comes a tooth....

Conner is cutting his first tooth and we are having a grand time at the Bennett household! I can assure you that all the rumors you hear about major blowouts, fussiness, spitting up, restless sleep and low grade fever during teething are absolutely true. Motrin and teething biscuits are MUST HAVES! Despite the pain, Conner is still such a happy baby!!

He loves his teething biscuits. Boy, they are a total mess though!!

Some cute shots from the weekend.. He loves his animal choo-choo train and can sit up and play all by himself now. He is such a big boy!!!

Halloween Fun

Conner and his neighborhood friends met in the park for a Halloween picture before everyone started trick or treating. As you can tell, it was hard to get the little ones to focus, but at least we captured Halloween 2008!

He probably had his Halloween costume on for about 30 minutes total before he had enough of the hat. It was fun seeing all of the costumes and reminded me of what good times we have to look forward to in the coming years of trick or treating.

Zack and I have decided that Halloween is Max's favorite night of the year. He stays perched at the window all night and then gets to greet everyone at the door. He is such a social dog (or should I say pumpkin). My camera even added some green monster eyes for more of a scary effect.

I thought I was a Toucan daddy....

Conner wore the Ole Miss "warm up suit" yesterday to school. Most of his friends had on their Halloween costumes or outfits, but Zack insisted that he wear his Rebel attire to prepare for the game.
Zack was pretty bummed last night and today that we were not in Oxford for the Ole Miss/Auburn game. He tuned in for every second and of course was thrilled at the Rebel victory. I guess Conner was a good luck charm for the Rebels after all.
