Our Sweet C's

Yes... I am FINALLY posting again, can you believe?? Please understand that this could possibly be a one time occurance... I don't want to even pretend that I will be back posting on a regular basis. I wanted to share some of the recent pictures that we had made of Corrie and Conner.

See the link below to our photographers blog:

Here are some of our other recent favorites:

Corrie is almost six months already...it is so hard to believe! She is such a sweet little girl. Her smile lights up a room and she has the sweetest cackle laugh. She is rolling all the way across the room now and starting to sit up propped up. Of course, I do not want her to do any of this because I am just trying to soak her all in. Life goes too quickly!! She LOVES, loves loves her big brother. She will twist her head around until I think that her neck is going to pop off watching him. It is so stinking sweet!! She is such a delight and we are so blessed to have her.

Conner is doing well too. He is almost two and 1/2, going on 6. He is so much more verbal than I expected him to be and really never quits talking. He has the memory of an elephant and is already correcting me every day. YIKES, it is going to be a long road! He is working on potty training but I think that his parents are the ones that need to be trained in all honesty. He is driving a Gator (YES driving and steering), riding a scooter (or a bike if he can find one to borrow from a neighbor) and becoming more and more independent every day. It kills me sometimes to watch my little boy doing everything on his own. He is loads of energy and truly wears us out every day, but we love watching him learn and explore this great big world. He is also very protective of Corrie. We are starting to work through some jealously issues as we pull more and more of his old toys out for her, but we will get through this hiccup soon I am sure. :)

Hope to keep you more updated, but no promises!!

T and Amy Tied the Knot

Tyler and Amy got married Saturday night at Pickwick Lake. It was a beautiful and special ceremony. Conner, Zack, and I were honored to be part of the weekend. Conner was the cutest ring bearer I have ever seen!

Zack's cousin, Corrie and her little girl, Audrey who is 3 days older than our sweet Corrie!
Another cousin, Elizabeth was the flower girl and was giving Corrie a sweet kiss. Unfortunately, Corrie was extremely hot and not in the best of spirits at this point. At least the picture shows her sweet dress. She looked like a doll!!

Corrie and Conner

Okay, so I still haven't been great about posting. Hopefully soon..... We shall see! For now, I wanted to share a couple of pictures. The one above is a recent picture of Corrie, who is already 6 weeks old!! Isn't she a doll? The one below is one of my favorites from a couple of weeks ago. Corrie was lying in Conner's big boy bed and he wanted to share his blanket with her. He said, "Cover her up mommy." Conner, sharing? Hard to believe, but he does love his sister.

First Official Photo Shoot

We scheduled our first official photo shoot the weekend following Corrie's arrival with our favorite photographer, Grethel Van Epps. She came over to the house and took some sweet newborn pictures of her, two year pictures of Conner, and even a few of the family. Our Sweet Addition... Introducing Corrie Mae

We were so excited to welcome precious Corrie to the world on March 29th at 12:19 pm. She weighed 6 lb and was 18 and 1/2 inches long. I was induced that morning around 7 am and dilated to 10 cm around at noon. Labor was incredibly easy this time - I only pushed twice and the doctor did not make it in time to deliver her. Fortunatly, we had a wonderful nurse!!

She is absolutely adorable and we are enjoying her tremendously. She reminds me so much of Conner but of course I think that she is more delicate and dainty. Conner loved her immediately and is already being a protective big brother. He is slightly jealous of his mommy's attention right now and wants to be held and burped all the time. I know it will get easier on him every day and soon he won't remember life without her. Hope you enjoy the pictures and I look forward to getting back into the blogging world soon :) I have so much to catch up on!!
