Hometown Fair

Conner was able to experience his first fair in our neighborhood recently. He absolutely loved riding the swings with his daddy and sliding down the huge inflatible slide!!

A Country Pumpkin

We finally made our first visit to the Pumpkin Patch, Country Pumpkin in Caledonia two weeks ago. It was so neat to finally make it over since I grew up playing at that same farm myself with my childhood best friend, Emily. Conner especially enjoyed swimming in the corn sand box, playing in the cotton wagon, and riding the mini tractors. It truly was a little boy's heaven! We will definitely have to make a repeat visit next year.

No Excuse...

I know... I have been beyond terrible at posting pictures and keeping up lately. I am just going to blame it on being extremely tired from pregnancy, but still no excuse! 18 months has come and gone already. Conner turned 19 months on November 1st. It is hard to believe that our baby is now a little boy . He has changed so much over the past few months and we have had a blast watching! I cannot even begin to count the new words that he is saying and repeating. He is absolutely full of life and such a happy little boy. I am trying to savour all of these moments of undivided attention with him because I know that will drastically change when the new little one arrives in April. On that note, we get to find out what we are having in a couple of weeks and are getting very excited.

Okay, now time to catch up on some pictures... Here are a couple from our trip to Oxford two weeks ago now. Nana and Pop came over for a visit and Conner got to enjoy time with his favorite buddy, Ann Luckett! :)

Conner's BIG News

And I am sure a terrific one at that!! Okay, maybe he will be a little jealous at first, but pretty soon he will get used to sharing his mommy and daddy. We are so excited!! I am almost 12 weeks along now and our due date is April 19th!

Two Years Old Already...

One of Conner's best buddies, Ann Luckett turned two on Monday!! It is hard to believe that this sweet little girl is already two. Happy Birthday Ann Luckett!! We love you and have enjoyed watching you grow over the past two years and cherish all the fun memories we have made together.
No birthday picture, but I had one from last Saturday night when we went to eat Mexican and then to the pet store together. Conner and Ann Luckett loved the kennels and stuffed animal dogs. I didn't think that we were ever going to get those two out of there!

Early Arrival

On Sunday morning, one of my very best friends and her husband welcomed their new little boy into the world!! Allan was born at 4:04 am and weighed 6 lb 5 oz. He was in perfect health despite deciding to come 3 weeks early.. I guess he is just going to be full of energy and raring to go like his mommy!! It was a very long and intense night of labor as Kerry did it naturally, but she handled it all so well and looked amazing by 8 am on Sunday. I am so impressed and proud of her! Congrats Kerry and Jeff!! Zack, Conner, and I cannot wait to watch this little boy grow up and are so blessed to be part of it all.

Driving the car with Pops

Gram and Pops came over for a visit last Sunday. As I mentioned in an earlier post, Conner is obsessed with keys and the car. Since Conner typically gets his way with Pops, he has spent alot of time in the car with him over the past several months. Pops lets him drive (steer), turn the radio on and off, crank the car, stick his head out of the sunroof, etc. It is great fun for Conner and I think lots of fun for Pops too. I am fairly certain Pops will be finding a way to let him drive as soon as he can reach the pedals.

I know that I have taken more pictures of them in the car together, but can only find the two from last Sunday to share! I especially love the one with his head hanging out of the sunroof.
